Home at last, the body of a young Odia engineer arrived from Spain. Recovered by Baijayant Panda, MP and BJP leader from Kendrapada. In Bhubaneswar now resides Debashish Priyadarshi Sahu, an Odia technician who once worked abroad. A note sent by Panda requested that India’s envoy in Madrid arrange the return of the remains. His house received the casket today.
Twelve days later, the remains arrived home. From Kolkata, Debasish had built a path straight to London’s streets. Training pulled him toward Spain under quiet skies. On June 16, his heart stopped without warning. Later that day, once back in Odisha, the family took possession of the body. Earlier, they had already told MP Baijayant Panda about its arrival in the state.
